Advanced Rider Tech
Total Control ARC & Slow-Speed Clinics
Enrollment Policies

Registration:
When you have registered and paid for your class that means you have paid for your name on the roster and a seat in a clinic which meets on a specific date.  You are expected to be at your class for those dates and times.  Your registration and course fee does not give you a seat in a future clinic, or add your name to a new roster or reschedule you into another date, should you miss your originally scheduled clinic.  Each student will receive a confirmation e-mail with pertinent information about the course.  A waiver will be required to be completed the day of the clinic by each student.  It is your responsibility to make sure you arrive on time.  It is your responsibility to contact our office if you do not receive your confirmation email from our enrollment system.

Attendance:
For liability reasons, students must sign all waivers prior to beginning the TCARC and / or The Slow Speed Clinic.  If a student refuses to sign the waiver, they will not be able to participate in the clinic and will not receive a refund.  If a student fails to show up for the clinic without prior re registering, he/she will not receive a refund or be re-registered into another clinic.  Absolutely No Exceptions.

Cancellation Policy:  No Cancellations, No Exceptions!

Re-Registration Policy:
An additional $75.00 processing fee is obtained for attendees that wish to re-register their class.  The Re-registration deadline for all clinics is 14 days prior to the date of the clinic.  Example: If your class starts on a Saturday, then the last day for re-registration for that class would be two Saturdays prior to your class by 4:30pm. (Please see the Cancellation Policy for further details).  THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE students who fail to comply with the Tardiness, Attendance, or Safety Guidelines and Policies provided.

Refund Policy: No Refunds, No Exceptions.

Failure to Complete:
The Instructors are required to ensure the safety of all students.  Special consideration for re-registration of students will be decided on a case by case basis by the Advanced Rider Tech staff.

Unsafe conditions will not be allowed and the Instructors will drop any student who, in the opinion of the Instructor, presents a safety hazard to themselves or to others, or who repeatedly fails to respond to the Instructor's coaching.  In the event a student fails to complete the clinic in its entirety, the student will be allowed to re-enroll in a future course.  Refund or re-registration will not be given to a student who drops themselves from the course.

Late Attendees: (Tardiness Policy)
Part of the reason for the program success is the dynamic classroom training, which includes both theory and application of the TCARC techniques.  The Instructors are required to teach the material in a specific order within the times allotted for each of the classes.  Should you show up late, you will be dropped from the entire course and can not receive a refund or be re-registered into another course.  The seats are limited, and students spend a considerable amount of time, money and patience to attend this clinic.  We ask that all attendees show up to each of the classes at least 30 minutes prior in order for the Instructors to prepare the students and their motorcycles for the clinic.  Absolutely No Exceptions.

Riding Attire:
All students must provide their own motorcycle or scooter and we recommend at least one year of riding experience.  Your motorcycle or scooter should be in proper working order, meet all State requirements, and be safe for the rider.  For students with less than two years of experience, it is advised (though not required) that they have completed an MSF ERC.  Protective gear is required for all students, which includes a DOT approved helmet (full face is recommended), motorcycle jacket and pants, gloves and boots that cover the ankle.  Jeans and fingerless gloves are not allowed, but Kevlar jeans or leather chaps will be accepted.  Absolutely no race tires or race compound tires will be allowed regardless if they are DOT approved.  Students who arrive without proper riding attire or an unsafe motorcycle will not be allowed to participate in the TCAR or Slow-Speed Clinic.  Our emphasis on wearing proper riding attire is part of the process to change the decisions that today's riders need to continue to be safe on the roads.....
